PEBAX® RNEW Pebax® Rnew is an environmentally friendly, dynamic and durable material, ideal for use with minimal thickness shell walls and variable geometries. It delivers lightweight reliability for use in a variety of conditions and terrain.
SHELL
CARBON CORE SHELL PEBAX RNEW In Pebax Renew with CARBON CORE technology, an over-injected carbon insert that guarantees high torsional and longitudinal stiffness. of the shell that allows more direct transmission of impulses to the ski and consequently greater precision.
A new last 102 is more precise in the heel and medial area, and larger in the metatarsal area. This compact last, permits a perfect union and cohesion between foot and boot for better performance and feelings.
SKI/WALK MECHANISM
SPEED LOCK MLT Made of aluminum, the SPEED LOCK MLT is equipped with friction-free technology that allows maximum agility and freedom of movement when walking. The locking on the shell is simple and effective, the steel harpoon and the essential design minimize the possibility of snow or ice accumulation, ensuring easy closure even in extreme conditions.
FRICTION-FREE TECHNOLOGY There isn’t any connecting rod between the shell and cuff, this allows a “friction-free” movement during the walking phase.
CLOSURE SYSTEM
AXIAL ALPINE HYBRID Thanks to the straps installed on the tongue and linked at the mid-point of the shell, it provides a snug fit at the forefoot, as well as ensuring a precise fit for all kinds and sizes of feet.
WAVE CLOSURE M-LITE The Wave Closure M-LITE system guarantees an accurate wrapping of the foot on four points between the malleolus and the forefoot which equalizes the pressure on the foot. 3 adjustment points are available for this system: the 3-tooth rack, micro-regulator on the toe and a micro adjustment for the lever.
HRS SYSTEM Thanks to the HRS and instep straps, heel security has become a SCARPA trademark. The instep strap configuration offers an incredible fit for both touring comfort and downhill performance.
ALLUMINIUM LEVERS All levers are made of aluminum which guarantees lightness and resistance. The design allows for effective use even with gloves. All buckles are screw-nut fixed.
POWER STRAP PVC FREE The Velcro® strap PVC Free closure provides the best wrapping on the tibial area, without adding a lot of weight. It integrates RECCO technology that enables professional rescue organizations to quickly track down the skier in the event of an avalanche accident.
CUFF
MLT CUFF New cuff, realized in In PEBAX RNEW from renewable sources, implements a simple and clean design with differentiated reinforcement and thickness areas that offer an important level of support for the skiing phase while limiting weight.
ZEPPA
ZEPPA LT The new zeppa located underfoot between the shell and the liner provides a more comfortable fit and feel to the boot. The combination of the new material and the thickness allows a greater volume in the shell and ensures greater comfort, especially for all-day use.
LINERS
PRO FLEX TOURING WMN Thermoformable liner made with Intuition Foam, featuring women’s specific anatomic construction with an elastic band on the instep. Specific thermoformable heel inserts lock the ankle in place during skiing or touring. Double pull loops facilitate fitting. The fit is touring-oriented and comfortable right out of the box. For a more precise, high performance fit we suggest thermomoulding before skiing.
SPOILER
The boot is equipped with a height-adjustable upper spoiler thanks to the Velcro for optimal back support. It adds +2° on forward lean.
CAYMAN LITE The sole from SCARPA and Vibram® has an ergonomic design that guarantees optimal grip when walking in any type of terrain. Made of Durastep compound, it is equipped with Traction Lug technology which increases traction by up to 25% while maintaining stability. Compliant with DIN ISO 9523 and compatible with all TLT bindings on the market.
